About the Contest

In the Dragon Whimsy world, a dragon's personality is largely determined by his or her color. Red dragons are energetic leaders, black dragons are shy recluses, yellow dragons are talkative salesmen types, etc.

The problem is, the Color Coded Guide to Dragons is incomplete. For one thing, there's nothing about turquoise dragons, and they're starting to feel a bit left out.

That's where you come in. The point of the contest is to write a little something about turquoise dragons: What are they like? What kind of skills or magic do they have? How are they different from other dragons?

You don't have to write a long essay. It only needs to be a paragraph that gives an idea of what you think the typical turquoise dragon is like. Most of the summaries in the Color Coded Guide to Dragons are only about 5 sentences long.

What You'll Get

The winner will receive a tiny, handmade turquoise dragon figure in the mail at no cost. Also, their summary of turquoise dragons added to the Color Coded Guide to Dragons.

Everyone can take advantage of a one-time discount just by entering the contest: If you request to have a mini dragon made for you, or if you buy one that's already displayed in the gallery, you'll get it for $10.00, plus shipping. (The usual price for a mini dragon is $15.00.)

How to Enter

Write a short paragraph that describes turquoise dragons and email it to vneely@dragonwhimsy.com no later than January 31st. Please make sure it's somewhere between 4 to 7 sentences long.
